Welcome to the official Ayoub International School, (A.I.S.). A.I.S is an independent co-educational day school, which offers educational programs for students of all nationalities. Currently, we teach children from nursery age up to Grade Eleven. Each year we add an additional grade and will continue to do so through grade 12.
Accredited by the Sierra Leone Ministry of Education and by our Calvert School program (Maryland, U.S.A), at A.I.S. a particular emphasis is given to mastering essential skills, inspiring life-long enthusiasm for learning and instilling responsibility and self-discipline. Ayoub International School seeks to develop students of high academic achievement, well rounded social skills, strong moral character, and community involvement.
A.I.S. staff is compromised of committed professional educators who are dedicated to delivering all aspects of the A.I.S. curriculum to every student. Our academic program is tailored to meet students individual needs. We consider the education of a child to be a responsibility shared by the school and parents. Parents are kept well informed of pupil progress by means constant communication from teachers (both oral and written), supervised homework, weekly work folders, parent-teacher conferences, and report cards. We encourage parents to volunteer in the school with academic activities and social functions.
